Oyemkke threatens Tunde Ednut following viral video suggesting he was bounced from Wande Coal’s concert

So here is the gist. Few days ago, Oyemykke went on Instagram to ask DJ Cuppy to stop singing and just face her Disco Jockey job. He gave the advise after Cuppy released her song with Mastercraft.
Days after his advise, Cuppy’s friend Wande Coal had a show in the UK. Now, there is a video making the round on social media with claims that Oyemykke was denied access into the show by the bouncers because he did not have his ticket and he was trying to gate crash.

How Dabota Lawson actually used & dumped billionaire Sunny Aku

Their marriage was the talk-of-the-town and everyone wondered what a very young ex beauty queen would be doing with a man who is 35 years older than her.
Anyways, the wedding held between Dabota and Prince Sunny Aku in Lagos at the Oriental hotel in 2014 with a few dignitaries including the then governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, present.
Then a year and a half later, rumour mills went agog that the beautiful former beauty queen has dumped her marriage. She denied this and posted a video of herself and her husband. But the marriage later crumbled.
“Dabota never loved Sunny Aku, she wanted the fame, money and the attendant attention that follow such marriage. She used the man and when she was satisfied, she walked out on him,” a source told Kemi Ashefon. But she still went back to beg Sunny Aku for money.
A reliable source revealed to Kemiashefon that “The billionaire gave her money, was still sleeping with her and she got pregnant. Meanwhile, she was posting on Instagram that she was no longer with her husband. All these girls are greedy and would do anything to be rich and popular. She got much money, built a shopping plaza and pushed her beauty range business.”
Born in Rivers State into a family of 10, Dabota spent her teenage years in Nigeria before leaving the country at the age of 16 to the United Kingdom to pursue a college education and a university degree in financial economics at the University of Leicester, and the London School of Business and Finance, where she studied accounting and business.
Whilst studying in the UK, she competed and won the Miss Nigeria beauty UK pageant in 2010.
After her victory, she did a lot of modelling on runway shows, high fashion events, and various modelling competitions. She married Aku in 2014 after seven months of knowing each other.
It was reported in August 2015 that Dabota was sent out of her matrimonial home after her husband found out that she was cheating.
She dismissed the reports by posting a video of her cuddling her husband on Instagram along with the caption “Don’t let the media fool you. Fictions are necessary for the people, and the Truth becomes deadly to those who are not strong enough to contemplate it in all its brilliance. One love bebeeeesss.”
She, however, deactivated her Instagram account in February 2016 after taking down all pictures of her husband as well as those of anything that linked them together. Aku, Dabota and friends at their wedding.
She was delivered of a baby girl in October 2016. Though she never leaked it that the baby was for Aku and kept her daughter’s face from social media, the resemblance the baby shares with her father said it all.
On Monday, as her usual practice was, Dabota, who craves to be talked about, decided to post on Instagram that she regretted marrying the chairman/CEO, Novena Majesty Furniture Industries Limited, Prince Sunny Aku.
The single mother confessed that the marriage was an error.
Dabota, the model and cosmetics entrepreneur added that she misses being carefree.
She wrote,“This weekend I spent a lot of time thinking and talking about past events in my life . My friends kept saying Dabota everything happens for a reason and you are who you are today because of all that has happened. But I said to them and myself NO!! I’m not soooo thankful, I wish I made better decisions and was careful before getting involved with certain things and certain people . I wish I could see the future of how some of my poor decisions will stay hunting me , because they actually do 😤 Every time I win or do better it’s because I chose to and I took a right turn , not always because I’ve learned a lesson. The only thing I know is my mind and heart is just stronger, too strong for my own good, I’m almost not in touch with reality and strictly focused on pursuing goals and making sure everyone and everything around me is fine.

I miss being care free and the softness and innocence I used to have. I hate the fact that I have major trust issue and assume everyone has an ulterior motive around me . I mostly regret ever getting married in 2014 ( please keep all that lessons and whatever you think I got from it talk ) I hate the fact that I did !PERIOD!
The only I did right that keeps me going was making the decisions to go through with my pregnancy and have my child . My daughter is only thing I’ve done right in the world over 25 years of my life . That’s how I feel.
Be careful the decisions you make in life . This is a very stern warning , everything you do has a consequence that only you will experience in way only you can understand . BE VERY CAREFUL !
HAVE A GREAT WEEK “
A good friend of actress, Tonto Dikeh, Dabota however, said the only thing she did right was making the decision to keep her baby.

Lady Gaga   Covers Variety Magazine’s Latest Issue

Lady Gaga is on the cover of Variety Magazine’s latest issue as she talks all about her new movie A Star Is Born.

Read excerpts below:
On how transformative “A Star Is Born” has been for her: This has been a very transformative time for me. As an artist, there’s always a feeling of ‘Am I good enough? Am I making something honest? Am I making something true?’ There is a sort of stagnant sadness in me, wondering if I’m enough. Today I did not see that. I saw something different. I saw clarity. I saw the truth.
On not reading the film’s reviews: My manager will sometimes text me little one-liners here and there. I’ll be like, ‘Stop it!’
On if “Shallow” is nominated for an Oscar for best song: I used to wrap myself in an Afghan or my grandmother’s knitted blanket and stand on a podium while I watched the Oscars,” says Gaga, who grew up in Manhattan as Stefani Germanotta. “I had big dreams as a child”.

BBC Journalist Shares Her Experience As Power Outage Hits Lagos Int’l Airport Leaving Passengers Stranded

A BBC reporter, identified as Yemisi Adegoke, took to her Twitter page, @briticoyemo, on Tuesday night to reveal how air passengers were stranded on Tuesday at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos following a power outage.
According to multiple online reports, the passengers were said to have been kept in the dark for hours as immigration officials did not address the anxious crowd, and the airport did not switch to another alternative power while the power outage lasted.
It was gathered that the airport officials were said to have taken foreigners among the passengers to another section of the airport where there was power.
Passengers were said to have been frustrated as they could not proceed with the boarding processes and the officials were allowing the foreigners to go the side of the airport that power.
The light was later restored while passengers were attended to by immigration officials.
Read her tweets as she narrated the event at the airport below;
“At Lagos International Airport and there is currently no power…and by the look of it NO GEN.
“Incredible scenes at the commercial capital of Nigeria’s international airport. NO ELECTRICITY. NO GENERATOR. NO EXPLANATION. Passengers are waiting to get through immigration.
“An immigration officer is complaining about what this looks like to ‘foreigners.’
It’s better this way abeg. Let them experience the shambolic nonsense straight out of the gate.
“It’s hot here ooooo. And I’m wondering how long we’ll be held here as no one is saying anything… to the Nigerians anyway.
“People are getting pissed because one passenger asked an official to let us know what is happening and another official responded ‘na we get airport?’
“An official jacked me why I’m disgracing my county (by taking pics etc) Guess my response
“Passengers going MAD because officials started allowing foreigners to go to the other side or the airport, where there is electricity. One woman was yelling “would they do this for us if we were in their country?”
“We are now on the other side,of the airport, where there’s power. Looks like whatever fault is on the one wing. People in line keep saying “sell the country” and some dude said “who wan buy am?” Ladies and gents, I am finished.
“Someone asked him so what do we do [about Nigeria] then? He replied: “Bury it and cover it with sand.
“We made it through!!! What a welcome lmao”.

Teleology appoints new board of directors for 9mobile

Teleology is pleased to announce the constitution of a new Board of Directors for Nigeria's multi-award-winning telecommunication company, 9mobile, following the successful completion of the tenure of the former Board appointed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and in fulfillment of the consequential transfer of final ownership to the new investors, Teleology Nigeria Limited. We thank all out-going members of the Board for helping to shepherd 9mobile through the critical transition phase it has passed through since July 2017 and wish them the very best in their future assignments.

For us, the composition of the new Board of Directors is another significant milestone, and this follows the issuance of final approval of no objection by the Board of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to the effect that the technical and financial bids Teleology submitted for 9mobile met and satisfied all the regulatory requirements. This is indeed the dawn of a new era in the evolution of the 9mobile brand in the Nigerian market.

The new Board of Directors are:

 1. Nasiru Ado Bayero (Chairman) 2. Asega Aliga (Non Executive Director) 3. Adrian Wood (Non Executive Director) 4. Mohammed Edewor (Non Executive Director) 5. Winston Ndubueze Udeh (Non Executive Director) 6. Abdulrahman Ado (Executive Director) 7. Stephane Beuvelet (Acting Managing Director)

The new Chairman of the Board, Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero welcomes the appointment stating, "as we begin this new epochal phase, we wish to thank all the employees who built this viable business. Our debt of gratitude also goes to our subscribers even as we assure them to get ready for real best-in-class additional value for their relationship with the 9mobile brand.

Without you, there could not have been a 9mobile business for us to invest in today. We will justify your confidence in our brand by making significant investments that will improve the value you get for using 9mobile." It would be recalled that the CBN in collaboration with the NCC, had in July 2017 appointed a Board of Directors chaired by Dr. Joseph Nnanna, the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, to oversee the affairs of the company pending the completion of regulatory due diligence of the bid documents submitted by Teleology and sixteen others for its acquisition.

The bid process was superintended by Barclays Africa. But with the emergence of the Board, the long process for the acquisition of 9mobile has reached a definitive end marking the beginning of a new era for the telecommunication company.

NO COMMUNICATION MEANS NO RELATIONSHIP by Counselor Adofoli

Are you in a relationship where you are the only person doing the calling, checking up on them, and even sometimes when you call, they give you excuses that they are busy, tired, feeling sleepy, etc. Most at times they promise to call back but never do.

But one way or the other it seems like they don't want to let go the relationship and you think the problem is communication; you think everything is fine and will get better once they make time to talk. But with all your complains, communication is not getting better as you want it.

What you call lack of communication is not the problem. The fact is, your partner has no relationship with you and they are not telling you. Relationship is like bonding. Bonding with someone in the name of relationship makes them a part of you.

You care about them, when they are not feeling well you feel it. When there is something wrong with them, you notice it. No one reminds you to remember them because they are part of your life. No one alerts you to call them because they are always present in your thoughts.

It is impossible for a day to go by without you reaching out to them. You can't ignore or abandon them. Even when they hurt you, that is when you secretly check on them or think of them the most.

But when you are in a relationship with someone whom you have to remind that you are a part of their lives, it simply means you are not part of their lives. That is why when they promise to call you back, they don't. They will remember you when they need something from you but not because you are in their lives.

What many call a relationship is not a relationship. The distance between you and the one you call your partner should tell you the real meaning of closeness. You can't be close and yet they can't notice you. It just means you are far from them. Singles dating, start paying attention to this sign or red flag and stop wasting your lives. What you call no communication is in fact no relationship.

It’s time you stop forcing people to remember you all the time all in the name of relationship. The best gift you can give those people is your silence. Stay silent you will be amazed how good or happy they will live without you in their lives. They not calling you or checking on you just mean they are happy without you.

Such a person is not the right person for you. You have a wrong connection. They have a connection somewhere else which feels right for them. You forcing yourself to be connected to them will only give you shocks. Shocks of pains, hurt, etc. It is time for you to look for your right pair to create the right connection. With the right person, your life will be lit up. At the end of the day, you will understand relationships are just like electric currents. Right connections give life, wrong connections take life.

If you have to be anything in someone's life as far as relationship is concerned, be the sky; wherever they go, you are with them. If you will be any colour in their lives, be blue, the very colour that colours their sky.

In conclusion, So be careful how you act; these are difficult days. Don’t be fools; be wise: make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good" - Ephesians 5:16 (TLB).

# Dear Friends,
The only ones who truly know your story are the ones who helped you write it. Don't let people who didn't help you judge you.

You should also be mindful of those you surround yourself with as friends. Majority are just stomach direction.

God bless you, surround you with people who truly love you. People who will help you and save you from those who want to bring you down.

# It's my prayer, the people you hang around with will remember you in their prayers just like they do in their gossip

Please share with your friends, someone out there needs this.

Thank you for reading. This has been your Counselor and Motivator.

Singer Banky W Dumps Music For Politics, To Run For A Seat In The Federal House Of Representatives

Award winning singer and actor, Banky W has officially joined politics. He unveiled his intentions to run for the Federal House of Representative under Modern Democratic Party at an event in Lagos today. Sharing his message on instagram this evening,

Banky wrote;

“They said we don’t have the money to run.. we say we our strength lies in our numbers. They said we don’t have the structure, we say we will attempt to build it. They said “what if you lose”? I say, what if we win?
You see, my entire life has been a story of just dreaming dreams, praying about those dreams, setting goals, and working until they come true. I can live with trying and failing. I can not live with not trying.
So while we may not have a godfather, we do have God. And we have vision. And intellectual capacity. And integrity. And the right intentions. And last but not least, a whole lot of hope.
At the end of the day, hope may be all we have, but I believe that it is all we need. Thank you and God bless Nigeria. #Hope19 #EtiOsa”

The Victoria's Secret show held last night in New York and it was spectacular

The Victoria's Secret show held last night in New York and it was spectacular. A troupe of famous models including our very own Mayowa Nicholas strutted their stuff down arguably the most famous runway on the planet. Take a look!

The angels flew back in town for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show after spending two years around the world; namely Paris and Shanghai.
The show is a lavish event with elaborate costumed lingerie, varying music by leading entertainers, and set design depending on the theme of the year. The show attracts a plethora of celebrities and entertainers, with special performers and acts every year.

The show generally features a mix of seasoned Angels, high-profile names and a fortunate batch of newcomers or lesser-known faces. This year regular Angels such as Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Martha Hunt, Stella Maxwell, Lais Ribeiro, Sara Sampaio, Cindy Bruna and Taylor Hill strutted down the runway in addition to newcomers like Duckie Thot, Winnie Harlow and Mayowa Nicholas.
Every year, the Victoria's Secret show brings its famous bejewelled Angels together for what is consistently a glittery catwalk extravaganza. It's the most-watched fashion event of the year with over 800 million people tuning in every single year.

Often less is more when it comes to the VS show, with models typically showcasing little more than lingerie, heels and a pair of wings. There are always 'themes', like 'sexy sportswear' or 'sexy nightwear' or 'sexy pixies' with the lingerie taking centre stage.
Last year, brand collaborated with Balmain on some one-off looks for the show, marking the first time that VS had teamed up with a high-fashion brand to produce pieces that will actually be made for retail. This year, the company collaborated with Mary Katrantzou.
Speaking about the collab, Mary said, "Everything that Victoria’s Secret creates is about a woman feeling confident and empowered, and also having fun with what she is wearing. This collaboration is going to be bold, fun and playful."

This year, the Fantasy Bra will be designed by Altelier Swarovski and modelled by Elsa Hosk. The Swedish model was made an official Angel in 2015 and has walked in the show since 2011. The bejewelled bra is adorned with more than 2,100 Swarovski diamonds and has been valued at $1 million. It took over 930 hours to create and has over 71 carats.
For the first time ever, customers will be able to purchase a version of the fantasy bra (made with real Swarovski crystals). It will cost $250 and will go on sale later on in November.

The calm before the storm

The Victoria's Secret Show is one of the most anticipated shows in the world and every girl knows that half the fun is getting ready. Backstage at the VS show is absolute chaos with angels getting ready for the big show and press running around trying to get pictures and exclusives.

I'll Get Married To The Man Of My Dreams – Rita Dominic Speaks On Breaking Up With Her Ex

While speaking during a television programme, ‘Your View’ TVC this Friday morning, popular Nollywood actress and producer, Rita Dominic, disclosed that she almost got married at some point in her life, adding that she is happy the marriage did not work out.
The 43-year-old screen star said that when in a relationship, couples should at best find a way to live with each other, instead of trying to change negative traits, adding that a grown man cannot change.
She said: “I almost married someone. We were there. We were at that point. It didn’t work out and I’m happy it didn’t work out because I saw the signs.
“You know how you see the signs and you just ignore it hoping the person will change. Look, a grown man and a grown woman cannot change. They can find a way to live with each other and respect each other’s feelings, but to change a grown person is difficult.”

When asked by the TV host, Tope, that as Africans “we feel that a woman’s success isn’t complete until she’s married and with children, that what has been the pressure concerning being married and why hasn’t it happened?.”
The Mbaise, Imo state-born actress said: “At the end of the day, if I’m going to do it, i’m doing it for myself not that the society wants me to do it. I always will still say; I will marry the man of my dreams and not the man the society dreams for me.

“Society feels there’s something wrong with you if you’re a certain age and you’re not married. What if it’s the society something is wrong with? For forcing someone to do what they don’t want to do?”

Falz Files Court Papers Challenging The Ban Placed On His Song "This Is Nigeria"

Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has filed papers in court challenging the ban placed by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) on his song, "This is Nigeria".

The court documents were filed through Falz's lawyers, Adepetun Caxton-Martins Agbor & Segun (ACAS-Law), on November, 6, 2018, three months after the NBC sent a letter to JODAJ Global Communications Limited in Jos sanctioning them for playing Falz's song, "This Is Nigeria" and banning the song from being played on radio, along with other songs.

In the letter sent to JODAJ Global Communications Limited, NBC stated that the reason for banning This Is Nigeria is that the lyrics are vulgar and in contravention of the NBC Code.

A lot of Nigerians, including celebrities, criticized NBC for the ban, stating it was ridiculous, but the ban was upheld.

Falz had hinted in an interview granted in August that he would write to the NBC to seek a justification for the ban and if necessary, seek legal redress in the courts. He has now followed through on his words by taking legal action against the regulatory body.

The singer, who is also a lawyer, has taken steps in engaging his lawyers, ACAS-Law, to institute an action against the NBC challenging the ban.

The Originating Summons reveals that Falz is seeking, among other things, for:

1. A declaration that the Defendant’s prohibition of the Plaintiff’s song titled "This Is Nigeria" from being aired by the Nigerian media outfits on the pretext that same is laced with vulgar lyrics is in flagrant breach of the Plaintiff’s right to the freedom of thought, conscience and expression as guaranteed under Sections 38 and 39 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) and to that extent, such prohibition is unconstitutional, null and void.

2. An Order of this Honourable Court setting aside and/or vacating the decision of the Defendant as contained in the letter dated 6th August 2018 and lifting the ban or proscription of the use of the Plaintiff’s song titled, "This Is Nigeria" by any and all Nigerian media outfit/organizations.

3. The sum of N100,000,000 (One Hundred Million Naira to the Plaintiff on the footing of aggravated and exemplary damages for the wrongful and unconstitutional acts of the Defendant.

“I dragged her that she must share everything from to till FG decides to stop the SCH feeding campaign. If we don’t stand up against impunity, we will blame the government till the world comes to an end.
“I’ve pictures and video evidence of the inferno but I don’t want to publicize it yet”.
