Belarus teen stabs teacher, classmate to death

A 15-year-old Belarusian on Monday injured his teacher and a classmate to death whereas seriously injuring 2 others, authorities said, in a very rare school attack within the ex-Soviet nation.

The teenager received school before the primary lesson and stabbed his history teacher within the neck, fatally injuring her, local media according.

He then entered a neighbouring room and killed a student, before escaping via the window and injuring 2 more.

Police arrested the offender some 2 hours later, according to reports. The regional office of the inside ministry confirmed a 53-year-old teacher and one student had been killed, while 2 other students were in medical aid.
