'I've learnt my lessons' - Blood-soaked voter who survived election violence in Kano State shares experience

One of the voters who was assaulted in Kano State amid Saturday's strengthening decisions, Nasir Mansur Mohammed says he doesn't think the "misrepresentation called races in Nigeria" merits biting the dust for.

Mohammed was assaulted by hooligans weilding weapons when he went to make his choice at Santulma Primary School surveying unit in Gama Ward. As per his record, he was spared by "great Samaritans" and taken to the medical clinic where he went through three hours in confirmation.

In his words: "Alhamdulillah. I endure. I was brutally assaulted by hooligans at Santulma Primary School surveying unit at Gama Ward in Kano today Saturday. I was spared by the beauty of God and some great Samaritans, who additionally took me to Gwagwarwa emergency clinic, where I was conceded for three hours, sewed and released. Is the misrepresentation called decisions in Nigeria worth biting the dust for? I don't think so. Exercises learnt."
